We had a major scare with our sweet puppy yesterday, which resulted in a middle-of-the-night visit to the ER vet. Thankfully, they were able to help him & he is at home resting now, but must be carefully monitored for the next 48 hours. Apparently, he had eaten some acorns on the farm & we learned that they are poisonous for dogs. My parents have a huge oak tree in their backyard, so we are going to have to watch him much more closely when he’s outside from now on. Needless to say, those were some of the scariest hours of my life and I never want to go through that again!
