Twice in the last year, I’ve found myself packing for a trip (one in early spring and one in late fall) when I realized I had a serious shortage of blouses. Upon examining my closet further, I found plenty of sweaters, striped tees & chambray/plaid shirts…but I was lacking long sleeve tops. So, I’ve made it my mission to remedy this once and for all & find a few options that I can wear for multiple seasons (like the floral top seen here).
Even though this blouse is technically plaid, it’s more of a windowpane print so it doesn’t feel too directional. I can wear this now under a trench, in the summer with crisp white shorts & espadrille wedges (I’ll knot it at the waist) and into the fall with suede booties. If you’re looking for something with a feminine feel, try this scalloped wrap top. If your style is more bohemian, check out this floral blouse. Or for a modern vibe, try this button-front top.
I’ve been wearing these slingbacks non-stop since they arrived – fair warning: you’ll be seeing a lot of them this season! They were one of the first things I bought after my shopping freeze ended & they are so comfortable! The heel height is perfect for everyday and the color literally goes with everything (they also come in a pretty blush hue).
