The weather has been so unpredictable lately that it’s been hard to know how to dress from day to day – last week, we had temperatures in the 50’s and then the next morning, we woke up to 15 inches of snow. The day we took these photos, it was snowing AND the sun was shining! I’ve come to accept that having a harsh winter is just part of living in NY – thankfully, the weather during the rest of the year makes it worthwhile and I just have to grin & bear it for a couple more months!
As promised, I wanted to review these jeans for you today. I was a little skeptical about the fit because I don’t typically favor a high-rise denim, but these are so flattering and comfortable. I love that they aren’t a super-skinny cut through the leg, which is different from other pairs I own. They also hit at just the right spot on my leg so I can wear taller shaft boots without having to cuff them at the bottom (these would work well for those of you who are shorter too!). I found these were true to size & didn’t stretch a lot throughout the day – if you want a skinnier fit, though, you might want to size down. I went with this classic dark wash, but there’s also a distressed option in a lighter blue or black here.
What I’m wearing:
J. Crew Factory Coat (more options here, here or here), Zara Sweater (similar here or here),
Similar Plaid Shirt, Levi’s Jeans, Vince Camuto Boots (similar for less here),
Similar Bag, BaubleBar Ring (similar), Lips: BITE Beauty (Chutney)
