While my friends back in New York prepare for what could be the biggest snowstorm in years, Oregon is having such mild temperatures that don’t feel like “winter” at all. I have to admit it’s been a welcome adjustment to have warmer weather that doesn’t even require a coat in mid-December. But, for those of you who have been following for a while & are used to my layered looks this time of year, I’m sorry to say there may be less of them!
Even if we won’t be having a white Christmas here in the Pacific Northwest, I’m still embracing wintery styles in chic neutrals and icy hues, like this pretty fair isle sweater (under $50 & ships for free!). So many people wear black all winter long that it’s nice to mix it up with some softer tones of ivory, dove gray, light camel and pale blush. Check out more of my favorites pieces in these neutral shades below!
